We had our first service, the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts, in our new parish home on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021.
As we continue to prepare to break ground on building our new temple, we are a parish family and a people who are on the move! God has blessed us with a new "tabernacle in the wilderness" that is substantially larger than where we were for many years, so, with the recent opening up of some of the pandemic restrictions, we will be able at last to welcome all who wish to come!
After the service, Father Christopher spoke movingly about how God through the Church and all of us, "transforms space" such as the space in which we now serve the Divine Services. In the Liturgy, we offer to God "Thine own of Thine own," and God blesses the Gifts offered to Him. Now, we offer up this new space to God, and God transforms it into Sacred Space.
Glory to God for all things!
