On the Sunday after Theophany, the parish gathered at City Lake Park in Jamestown after the Divine Liturgy to celebrate the Great Blessing of the Waters outdoors. Fr. John Parker, who is the head of the OCA's Department of Evangelization and the Dean of Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Seminary in PA, visited us this weekend, concelebrated with Father Christopher, spoke about the many American saints who were associated with St. Tikhon's, and brought us the precious gift of relics of St. Alexis Toth.
